Adrian Blake Enscoe
Adrian is a Brooklyn-based actor/musician/writer who also happens to be one of the founding members of indie folk trio Bandits on the Run. With the Bandits, they have been featured on NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest, scored films (The Same Storm), produced tracks for Netflix (StoryBots), and are in the process of developing several musicals for the stage, all while touring internationally. The Bandits were most recently on the road in support of with Grammy-nominated roots act The Wood Brothers and will be returning to NYC in the spring to host a boppin' residency at Bowery Electric (March 10, April 14, and May 12).
As an actor, Adrian made their Broadway debut last year, originating the role of Little Brother in the Avett Brothers’ critically acclaimed shipwreck musical, Swept Away. They also starred opposite Hailee Steinfeld in the Peabody-winning Apple TV series, Dickinson. Adrian believes that billionaires ruin everything, but love will save us all!
At Woodward, Adrian will work on songs and material for the Bandits' adaptation of What's Eating Gilbert Grape, and their revisionist history musical about the Klondike Goldrush, Yukon Ho!, as well as the opera they are developing with fellow NYC actor/musician, Christopher Sears.
