Emilia Lirman
Emilia (Emi) is a trilingual Argentinian-American director and writer based in NYC. She gravitates towards work that addresses the overwhelming feat of simply being alive and centers radical joy — emotionally and aesthetically. Upcoming directing credits include Clue at Fordham University and associate directing Sergio Trujillo on Real Woman Have Curves, a new musical with music by Joy Huerta and Benjamin Velez.
At Woodward she will be working on First One Back, a feel-good nostalgia comedy about life after the end of the world with her writing partner and fellow Fall ‘24 Guest Resident, Riley K. Ewing.
