Julia D’Angelo
Julia is a Toronto-born, Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary artist, with a focus in music and film. As a performer she has appeared onscreen in various award-winning films, and plays regular live shows with her band across NYC. She has released a handful of original music within the jazz-folk-pop realm, along with multiple music videos. Notably, her debut film Worn won Best Short Film at the New York No Limits Film Festival, and her latest music video, Kathmandu was nominated for Best Film at the Miami International Film Festival.
At Woodward, she will develop a feature screenplay about three witches living in a small town in Italy in the early 1900s — based loosely on true events.
