Katie is a writer and editor whose essays and criticism have appeared in The Nation, Seattle Times, The Outline, and other publications.

At Woodward she will work on a novel about labor, sleep, siblings, and what constitutes safety when there’s no safety net. She grew up in Washington state and now lives in Ridgewood, Queens.
