Zoë Kase
Zoë is a documentary filmmaker, archival researcher, and radio broadcaster based in NYC. She has produced documentaries for PBS, Hulu, Freeform, and is a former BRIC Arts Media Documentary Fellow. Zoë’s interest in nonfiction storytelling and archival research extends into the world of radio broadcast. She is the the creator and host of “Some Things Last Forever,” a talk show about the art of archiving, which airs on nonprofit station Montez Press Radio. A longtime member of public access station 8 Ball Radio, Zoë hosts an ongoing music segment “Social Tunnel” and produced “The Clayton Patterson Show,” a talk show about Lower East Side history.
Zoë’s in-process work focuses on documentary storytelling through an archival lens. Currently, she is co-directing and co-producing a documentary about an experimental group of women filmmakers from the 70s and documenting oral histories of dance music culture in partnership with a rave archive.
