Tessa Liebman
Tessa explores concepts, translating stories from various senses and media to one she knows well as a chef (food and drink). Alongside years of producing/developing menus and multisensory events for clients including several New York City galleries and brands like BYREDO she is focusing her multidisciplinary and multisensory skills on conceptual installations exploring sociological and natural phenomena through immediate bodily perceptions. Her work has been featured at Olfactory Art Keller, Institute for Art & Olfaction, Experimental Scent Summit (2019) and Digital Scent Festival (2020) and in the book The Essence, Gestalten 2019. She was resident at Marble House Project, Shell House Arts, Guerilla Science and Can Serrat.
At Woodward, she will develop a book based on her project Scents of Plates, as well as work on other aspects of the project (collaborations, commissions, etc.)
