Hilda Oramas
Hilda is a Spanish-Cuban pianist and educator who recently moved to New York City. She started studying piano at the Professional Conservatory of Tenerife in the Canary Islands before moving to the United States in 2015 to pursue her musical aspirations. In 2020, Hilda graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from New World School of the Arts and earned her master’s degree in Piano Performance from Florida International University in April 2023.
In 2023, Hilda became a Steinway & Sons Educational Partner, solidifying her dedication to excellence in music education. Additionally, she created her piano studio in Miami, expanding her students' reach worldwide.
At Woodward, her main aspiration is to fully immerse herself in the exploration and mastery of a unique Cuban and Spanish piano repertoire. Her goal is to create both solo performances and collaborative projects with musicians and artists. Moreover, she aims to infuse these flavors into her own compositions, creating new styles that blend elements of Spanish and Cuban music.
