Dante Green

Dante (they/she/he) is a Brooklyn- based Black, Queer theatre director. Dante is interested in exploring the cosmic human condition — this world we are living and breathing in where everybody’s just pretending to know what they’re doing. We’ve built this huge game we’re all playing that everybody’s doing their best to win but we’ve made up the rules, nobody knows what the rules are, and they’re interested in stories that are manipulating those rules. They are the Founding Artistic Director of The Makers’ Ensemble, as well as a Mercury Store Residency Director, a former Wesleyan Breaking New Ground Residency Fellow, and inaugural Emerging Artist Initiative Fellow at Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble.
