Miguel José Paley

Miguel is an academic and a writer from Bogotá, Colombia. He received his PhD in philosophy from the New School for Social Research and is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Fordham University. Miguel's published work treats issues in 20th century continental philosophy with particular emphasis on the philosophy of Henri Bergson.

At Woodward, Miguel is completing work on his book manuscript Bergson & Affect which examines Bergson's contributions to thinking about affectivity and his influence for 20th century phenomenology. The book is slated to be published by Edinburgh University Press in 2025.
