Laura Scott Cary
Laura Scott is an actor and writer based in Ridgewood, Queens. Originally from Charlotte, NC, she holds a BFA in Theatre with a specialization in Acting from Southern Methodist University. Most recently, she performed in her playwriting debut, Girls Just Wanna Commit Domestic Terrorism, which premiered at The Tank in August. Other stage credits include The Goblin Woman (The Flea) and A Doll’s House, Part 2 (Charlotte Conservatory Theatre).
At Woodward, Laura Scott will write and develop Snapewives, a play about spiritual psychosis, terminally online communities, and Severus Snape.
