Brian Herrera Gladstone

Brian is a filmmaker & painter living in Ridgewood, NY. His most recent film, A Tennis Friend, screened at numerous film festivals and was awarded Best Narrative Film at the International Sport Film Festival (2023).

He works as a film editor and assistant editor. Recent credits include Sly (2023, Netflix release), a documentary about Sylvester Stallone, and Butchers Crossing (2023, theatrical release) starring Nicolas Cage. He is a graduate of Bowdoin College and holds a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Fine Art from Brandeis University.

At Woodward, Brian will be finishing a feature length screenplay based off his experiences as a college squash player. He'll also be researching/preparing a series of paintings inspired by coastal Florida, leisure, notions of romantic longing, and trance music.
