Monique Aiuto

Monique grew up in Tecumseh, Michigan and studied at The Cooper Union (BFA 1996) and Columbia University (MFA 1998). She has worked as an early childhood development educator for preschool children and children with autism for 20 years. She is also a musician, recording and touring with her husband in the band The Welcome Wagon (Asthmatic Kitty Records), and a visual artist. She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her family.
