Casey Friedman

Casey is a 30 year old queer filmmaker living in Brooklyn, NY, originally from Montclair, NJ. He is a 2015 graduate of Brown University with a B.A. in Sociology. As a filmmaker, he’s interested in the intersection of queerness, botany, colonialism, folklore, and nature.

At Woodward, he will be working on the script for a horror feature tentatively titled, Poison Ivy. The logline: A gay man on a friend’s trip to the woods of Cape Cod must confront trauma in his past when his ass awakens a serial killer.
